I've heard this announced over a local radio station twice in less than half an hour :
"New statistics have shown that foreign workers commit less crimes than local residents."
I get the point.
I don't mind housing them in our residential areas. But can someone, especially landlords, kindly monitor them? Will the government step up in its efforts (yes, they have been briefed but with your stella efforts in promoting the Courtesy Is For Free, Stop At Two, No Spitting, Anti-Dengue, Family (aka children)-What Can We Do Without them? and numerous other campaigns, surely one briefing to teach them socially accepted normals of our society is NOT enough?
Those of you who can read in between the lines would be able to tell that I've had my fair share of inconveniences putting up with construction workers housed up in the apartment where I live.
I will save this for another day of course.
