My favourite wonton noodles from the nearby Pek Kio market which my dad regularly `ta-bao's (buy back) for me. It tastes as good as those from the famous shops. One key ingredient is the char siew meat which many mediocre wanton noodle hawkers neglect. The one by this stall, which faces the row of shophouses and the traffic light opposite the market, offers generous, thick and succulent slices. The noodles when orderd dry are also not soggy but cooked just right for the fussy palate. I only wish that the wontons are a tad more tastier.
