I had some time to check out some exhibits which I had missed before Dr. Woffles Wu brought us into his secret lair.
The loud welcome. I don't remember noticing the chandelier during the actual opening day of the exhibition. It was really crowded then. These paintings are placed in line horizontally. The artist is exploring the desecration famous art pieces and art thefts around the world.
There's a funny story accompanying this final "missing" piece. During the very stressful set up stage before the exhibition, Xinyuan, one of the art teachers, upon noticing the 4 blue tacs, had thought that the canvas had either dropped or taken off the wall and had not yet be replaced. So the "missing" piece was part of the installaion all the while!
The "da" word is made up of numerous "xiao" characters.
The scandalous installation which slipped my attention previously as this was where the finger-food counter was and which many had scrambled madly around. You have to click on the picture to read the writeup to understand the scandal.
I've taken two pictures of the item under scrutiny - with and without flash - so that you can appreciate the details.
This is my contribution - I encountered this just before I reached my parked vehicle.
