Oh Malaysia! | 8:39 AM

I just read this...

KL puts off 50km petrol ban plan
Cabinet to review pracical issues related to curbs on foreign tourists.

Hello?!! This must be the umpteenth the folks up there announce a public decreee and then change their mind on the eve of execution. I thought the impulsive Mahathir regime had passed (phew!). Now it seemed that perhaps habits die hard? Come on, leaders are supposed to brainstorm all related and yes! PRACTICAL issues before they make any widesweeping announcements! Perhaps someone should recommend Tony Buzan to the cabinet folks? Once again, this makes me truly proud of the Singaporean government who truly milk every new proposal at the planning stage before releasing it to the public.

And have you read that KL is not giving up their fight for Pedra Brana despite international ruling in favour of Singapore? Sigh...
